Granules
We transform raw materials from our quarries or local rock suppliers into granulated products, intended for surfacing bitumen roof shingles.
Sands
Our colored sands are designed for application on metal roof tiles. Their small particle size facilitates their application on smooth surfaces.
Powders and Fillers
Derived from the refinement of our by-products, our powders serve as versatile filler products in various formulations.
Natural Products
From our proprietary extraction sites, where reserves are under our control, Carlac Minerals Group processes raw materials into natural surfacing products. Available as slate flakes or granules in multiple particle sizes, these products boast identical basic characteristics, such as excellent UV and fire resistance, along with environmental neutrality.
Treated Products
The treated products closely mimic the color of natural counterparts while possessing anti-dust properties. Surface treatment of the slate flakes effectively fixes residual dust, enhancing comfort during handling and ensuring better compatibility with supporting materials such as bitumen. Additionally, it prevents oil from rising on applications.
Colored Products and Mixtures
Carlac Minerals offers colored products achieved through a high-temperature process, ensuring optimal color retention. Different variants of white, black, blue, red, green, and custom color blends, make it possible to cater to diverse international markets. More than 30 basic shades are available in the form of slate flakes, granules, or sand.
Packaging and logistics
All products are available in bulk, in large bags, or, on request, in 30kg bags.
- Bulk : The products must be loaded into clean, watertight tanks or dump trucks.
- H-bags flexible containers: Available with or without a discharge spout, our products come in a standard capacity of 1500 kg. Equipped with tunnel loops or side seam loops, they facilitate handling using a forklift.
- Bags on pallets : Bagging is carried out in polyethylene bags with a valve (30 kg). The bags are placed on a covered pallet for a maximum total weight of 1500 kg.
All our products are sold directly from our factories, with deliveries handled by trucks provided by your own service providers. Our on-site logistics team is at your service to ensure the goods are readily available and to manage the loading process. We strive to accommodate your schedule for collection dates and offer guidance on the most suitable and cost-effective transportation options.
The organization also offers a maritime order management service. On request, we can manage the organization of a transport service to deliver the goods directly to the port. Packaging is done in H-bags of 2100 to 2400 kg placed on pallets, in 20-foot containers.
